There are fundamental differences between the Republicans and Democrats on taxation. Republicans believe that the government should tax only to support its essential functions. The Democrats believe they should tax to play a role in social engineering. They use it to control our behavior, steer our choices, and change the way we live our lives. The Republican Party wants families and individuals to maintain their independence from government, raise their children by their own values, and build communities of self-reliant neighbors. The government can only divide up money, redistribute wealth. Only through self-reliance and lower taxes do people have the economic ability to see their hopes and dreams become a reality.

Now to ask yourself:

Why are companies moving oversea? The largest corporate taxes of any developed country.

Why will there be less job creation? Tax cuts for those under 250,000 or 200,000 or 225,00 depending on the speech you listened to, but not for small business owners the engine of our economy, their taxes will rise substantially.

The increased deficit spending for social engineering only limits our economic growth and further burdens us with debt to other countries. Economic stimulus packages do not provide long term growth, reform does, change does, but not redistribution of wealth and increasing taxes on our companies. How can you advocate job creation while cutting even further into the competitiveness of our businesses large and small. Tax the rich, give to the poor, and watch the business with the ability to leave do so and those without close the doors. Tax the rich and give to the poor and watch the poor lose their job and ability to find one. How about we try this, cut the deficit spending, force the government to act like the businesses Democrats disdain and spend within their means, budget realistically, and stop tapping into the debt channels that plague our balance of trade and have created the burden of owing trillions of dollars to others.

I propose we make the government do its job, by getting it out of the way of ordinary people doing their job. To Obama and his social reform, socialist ideals, I hope you appoint an economic advisor who understands the negatives of increased deficit spending, with his economic plan it will increase. An advisor who understands what raising the already business killing corporate taxes will do to the job creation you hope to create. An advisor who understands that spending billions of dollars on socialist ideals pushes the country further to leaning on the government to supply its needs instead of relying on themselves and going for their dreams.

Though in the end I guess if the government is going to give me money why bother trying to succeed, failure is paid for in full. I’ll be in the line waiting on my fat check from the government for my failures in life, with the House, Senate, and Presidency controlled by Democrats the United States of Socialism should make the payouts great.
